School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or SLPA — Port St. Lucie, FL
Connected Hearts Pediatric Therapy, LLC is hiring School-Based Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) for two separate charter school campuses in the Port St. Lucie area — one K-8 and one high school. Each campus has its own opening, so this is two separate positions, not one role split between both schools. Both are available now, and we're ready to bring someone on as soon as possible. Full-time or part-time options are available.

About the Role:
- On-site position at a single campus, following that school's calendar and daily schedule.
- Full-time or part-time — whichever works best for you.
- Pay: $75/hr for SLPs, $50/hr for SLPAs.
- Direct, hands-on supervision and support from a licensed SLP — you'll never be navigating a tricky case or an unfamiliar IEP situation alone.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students per their IEPs,
- Conduct screenings and evaluations as needed.
- Develop and track progress toward IEP goals.
- Maintain timely, compliant documentation of services provided.
- Collaborate with teachers, case managers, and other members of the IEP team.
- Attend IEP meetings and provide input on student progress.
- Manage a caseload independently while staying connected with your supervisor for guidance, case consultation, and support.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida SLP license, or SLPA registration/certification in good standing.
- Prior school-based experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable managing your own schedule and caseload within the school day.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with documentation.
